BENEATH THE HELMET
A MESSAGE FROM THROTTLE MINDED DAD
Hi! I’m a thirtysomething moto head that has always struggled to get out and ride more often. I studied Applied Physics and worked in time-sucking space industry jobs until the world shut down with the coronavirus then my daughter was born. Something needed to change. I couldn’t live life away from my family in a cubicle without enough time to do the things I love most.
Throttle Minded was then born out of passion and a bit of frustration. For years, my wife (Throttle Minded Mom) and I practiced frugality, smart investing, and self-growth which allowed me to leave my job in 2022 and set a promise to help others live the life they’re capable of – one fueled by self-ownership and productivity.
Many of my friends and colleagues remained trapped, seeking advice or complaining about their financial, and time-related limitations. So I started this blog to share some lessons learned, grow with you all, and help create lives that are better because of motorcycles.

Enjoy the ride,
Throttle Minded Dad
